Unalaska, AK –Unalaska Department of Public Safety (UDPS) was recently made aware of a disturbing incident involving several teens and threats made with a handgun. Although the incident took place several weeks ago, it is being taken very seriously and police are actively investigating the situation. At this time, no persons have been taken into custody and no charges have been filed.
UDPS wishes to assure the public that the safety of our youth is of paramount importance. We thank the parents of the involved teens for their cooperation, and encourage students who have knowledge of dangerous or concerning behavior among their peers to speak to police, parents or other responsible adults about their concerns.
