12/18/16           Sun        0007     DUI – Isaiah Krukoff, 52 yoa, arrested for DUI.

12/18/16           Sun        1633     Assistance Rendered – Caller reported her truck stolen and being driven around town. The caller’s truck was seen by officers in the exact same location it has been in since the driver was arrested the previous night. The truck the caller saw was not her truck but one of similar design.

12/19/16           Mon      1429     Abandoned Vehicle – Information provided concerning impounding vehicles on private property.

12/19/16           Mon      1727     Traffic Crime – Caller reported a vehicle being driven erratically. Officers contacted the driver who was found to be sober. The driver admitted to reaching for his phone but denied texting while driving.

12/19/16           Mon      2016     Liquor Law Violation – Officers initiated an investigation into the selling of liquor by a license premise to an obviously drunken individual. Although no criminal charges were warranted, the responsible person was educated in the responsibilities of an alcohol vendor.

12/20/16           Tue        0600     Traffic Roads – Road’s Chief advised of icy road conditions.

12/20/16           Tue        0920     Traffic Roads – Caller reported a vehicle parked near the roadway in an unusual spot. The vehicle was found to be not blocking traffic or otherwise illegally parked.

12/20/16           Tue        1041     Domestic Disturbance – Officers were contacted regarding an ongoing domestic issue. Michael Silipa, 27 yoa, arrested for DV Assault 4th degree.

12/21/16           Wed      0110     Liquor Law Violation – Officers assisted with an overly drunken individual who was causing a disturbance. The individual was assisted to his room.

12/21/16           Wed      0154     Suspicious Person/Activity – Caller requested assistance with a group of drunken individual who he believed may cause a disturbance. The individuals had left the area prior to officer’s arrival.

12/21/16           Wed      0503     Traffic Roads – Road’s Chief advised of an accumulation of snow on the roadway.

12/21/16           Wed      0844     DUI – Officer initiated a DUI investigation on an individual who was noticed to have an odor of consumed alcoholic beverages coming from his breath. The employee’s breath alcohol concentration was found to be under the legal limit.

12/21/16           Wed      1531     Assist Other Agency – Officers assisted with a Probation Compliance check.

12/21/16           Wed      1649     Trespass – Officers were asked to issue a permanent trespass order to a problem customer. The customer was eventually found and advised.

12/21/16           Wed      2033     Drug Law Violation – Geoffrey Edwards, 41 yoa, arrested and charged with 11 felony counts in regards to drug trafficking and illegal firearms possession.

12/22/16           Thu       0304     Suspicious Person/Activity – Caller requested assistance in retrieving his DVD’s. Officers pointed out that waking someone at 3:00 a.m. to get DVD’s was not reasonable. The caller agreed. 

12/22/16           Thu       1409     Burn Permit -

12/22/16           Thu       1640     Assistance Rendered – Officers assisted in removing a drunken person who had locked himself in the bathroom of a local store. The individual was busy talking on his cell phone and didn’t realize he had been in the bathroom for such a long time. The individual was compliant and left the store without incident.

12/22/16           Thu       1942     Liquor Law Violation – Officers contacted a drunken individual, who had been denied access to two different licensed premises, and advised him that he was not to return to any licensed premises until he was sober.

12/22/16           Thu       2009     Welfare Check – Individual advised of a drunken person stumbling in the roadway causing a traffic hazard. The drunkard was no longer in the area when officers arrived.

12/22/16           Thu       2019     Fire Response – Fire Officers responded to a fire alarm at the airport. No fire was located.

12/22/16           Thu       2031     Assistance Rendered – Officers assisted with a fire response.

12/23/16           Fri         0829     Assist Other Agency – Officers assisted in a Probation Compliance check. Ioane Faasavalu, 29 yoa, who was already in custody for MICS charges, was also remanded on a PTRP.

12/23/16           Fri         1025     Public Safety – Strong Wind Warning issued for Unalaska.

12/23/16           Fri         1031     Animal – Cat trap loaned to a local business.

12/23/16           Fri         1124     Welfare Check – Caller requested a welfare check on his adult daughter whom he had kicked out of his residence. The daughter was contacted and found to be alive and well.

12/23/16           Fri         2234     Custody – Lesley Olson, 40 yoa, taken into custody for VCOR.

12/23/16           Fri         2236     Release Conditions – Officers were advised that an individual was violating his release conditions.

12/23/16           Fri         2311     Assault – Caller reported an assault at a local drinking establishment. Brett Wise, 29 yoa, arrested for DUI.  John Bunnell, 22 yoa, arrested for Assault 4 x 2, and Clarence Hock, 25 yoa, arrested for Assault 4 and Harassment II.

12/24/16           Sat        0152     Trespass – A permanent trespass advisement issued to three individuals at the request of a local business.

12/24/16           Sat        0719     Assistance Rendered – Taxi driver requested assistance in collecting a fare. The driver was able to enter into a civil agreement with the fares prior to officer arrival.
