Domestic Disturbance—Walk-in reported that his roommate had flipped a table at his apartment last night and he was scared things could escalate.  The dispute stemmed from the complainant touching his roommate’s groceries; complainant did not want to press charges and the situation was resolved civilly.

Civil Paper Services All—Local court issued a summons to be served.  Officers were unable to serve the summons as the individual to be served was out fishing.

MVA-Damage—Officer contacted a City employee regarding damage to her vehicle which had occurred the previous day.  Complainant believed it was a large SUV parked near her vehicle that caused the damage but did not have any details regarding the SUV.  Incident was documented for insurance purposes.

Traffic Roads—Truck drivers complained that there was a large mound of gravel in the middle of Captains Bay Road and it was creating a hazard.  Officer conducted a road assessment.

Trespass—Complainant wanted “someone” to leave her house and the person was refusing to leave.  Officers responded and investigation revealed that the individual who would not leave was the sister of the caller.  Officers were unable to make an arrest due to not being able to locate the suspect in a timely manner.

Animal—Officers responded to the local Clinic for a report of an individual who had been bitten in the face by a dog. Officers observed the victim had suffered a laceration. The dog attacked the victim in the Valley.

Suspicious Person/Activity—Officers responded to a report of an individual refusing to leave a local liquor establishment. The individual had left by the time officers arrived, however they were able to locate the individual at another local liquor establishment. Officers also found the individual to be on probation and advised him against going to any more liquor establishments for the remainder of the night.

Suspicious Person/Activity—Officers responded to a report of an individual intoxicated, and passed out in a bathroom of a local bunkhouse. Officers assisted in removing the individual and Public Safety stood by until a sober third party was able to pick up the individual.

Suspicious Person/Activity—Officers responded to a gray and silver van that was parking overnight at the Library parking lot.  Officers advised the owner of the van that he cannot park on city property overnight and he must move to a different location.

Traffic Roads—Local shipping company reported that their drivers are having a very difficult time on Captains Bay Road due to all the potholes.  Officer did a road assessment and notified the Department of Public Works about the quality of the road.

Trespass—Local liquor establishment reported that a customer was making the bar staff uncomfortable because he was continuously expressing his love to them.  Officers responded and at the request of the bar manager, the subject was trespassed indefinitely from the bar.

Liquor Law Violation—Officers advised overly affectionate bar tenant that he was not allowed to enter any liquor establishments for the remainder of the evening due to his level of intoxication.

Found Property—Wallet of overly affectionate male from previous calls was found at bar and turned into Public Safety.  Officers contacted the owner of the wallet; subject reported to the station to retrieve his wallet.  He did not have any loving words for Public Safety staff.

DUI—Officer conducted a traffic stop on an individual that had driven through a stop sign.  Officer suspected alcohol was involved and conducted a Standard Field Sobriety test, subject failed the test but then blew under the legal limit on the portable breathalyzer test.  Subject was cited for failing to stop for a stop sign.
