Officers observed an extremely intoxicated individual exiting a local liquor establishment. Officers attempted to assist the individual in walking to the local hotel, where they were believed to be staying. Officers eventually found the individual was not staying there and was actually staying at a local inn. Officers transported the subject to their room due to their extremely high level of intoxication.

The Department received a call from individuals located out of the country reporting a missing person. The individual reported that their mother’s fiancée had come to Alaska to fish. The caller stated that they had last contacted him on April 18^th and had not heard from him since. The caller did not have much information about the boat the individual could be working on. The caller then explained further that the individual had specifically gone to Kodiak. The caller was provided with the number for the Kodiak Police Department.

The Department was notified of an individual responding to the clinic for ammonia exposure. The original caller did not specify where the patient had been exposed. The clinic was contacted and they stated they had another patient who was dealing with the same issue. Officers responded and found the exposure originated from a leak aboard a vessel currently docked at a local dock. Firefighters and EMS were immediately notified.

Security for a local bank reported they had received a threat from a customer stating they were going to throw rocks into the windows of the bank and proceed to jumping off a bridge because they were upset about not receiving a refund. Officers responded to the bank and observed no damage. During this time dispatchers obtained the name of the disgruntled customer. Officers contacted the customer who displayed no signs of distress and refused to answer questions regarding the incident.

The victims, who did not wish to press charges, were notified of the location.

The driver stated they were using the curb of the sidewalk to slow the vehicle down while travelling down hills. Officers did not observe any signs of intoxication.

Officers had trespassed Puok around 0200 hours the same morning, re-contacted Puok at the hotel again at 1000 hours, and advised him each time if he were to return he would be arrested. Puok returned a third time, at which point officers arrested him.
