Press Release -DOT Emergency Exercise

Alaska DOT Emergency Exercise; 09 May 2016
Unalaska, AK – Alaska Department of Transportation, Unalaska Dept. of Public Safety and Unalaska Ports Department will be participating in a tri-year emergency response exercise at and near the Tom Madsen Airport on 11 May 2016. The exercise will test firefighting, security, search and rescue and EMS responses to a simulated mass casualty event at the Tom Madsen Airport. The exercise will run from approximately 7-9pm, and community members are advised that roads around the airport may be closed for short periods of time during the exercise.
