09/29/13 Sun 0116 Disorderly Conduct – An officer happened upon a melee in front of the Harbor View Bar. Daniel M Coulombe, 26 yoa and Zachary Tye Mendiola, 37 yoa, were both arrested for Disorderly Conduct. Jennifer Lee Wilson, 41 yoa, was arrested for Interfering with an Arrest. Officers learned that the fracas began after two groups of people engaged in name-calling.
  
09/29/13 Sun 0401 Trespass – Multiple people were issued trespass advisements, per Unisea Security, for their roles in a brawl at the Harbor View Bar.
  
09/29/13 Sun 1110 Assistance Rendered – Caller requested assistance removing an inebriate from his residence. The responding officer found the inebriate already walking back to his own home.
  
09/29/13 Sun 1220 Theft – Caller reported his phone had been stolen by the friend to whom he lent it. An officer called the friend and asked him to return the phone. He did.
  
09/29/13 Sun 1225 Drug Law Violation – Officer was given some information regarding illegal drug sales in Unalaska. Under investigation.
  
09/29/13 Sun 1746 Security Check Request – Officers confirmed that a building was secure after having been asked to do so by staff.
  
09/30/13 Mon 1403 Animal – Loose dog.
  
09/30/13 Mon 1706 Assistance Rendered – Complainant reported her neighbor’s stuff was in her rental property yard and ought to be moved. An officer asked the owner of the items to have them moved.
  
09/30/13 Mon 1750 Traffic Crime – Officer advised the driver of a vehicle without brake lights that his vehicle, which had been stopped for the same violation in the past, was unsafe and would be impounded if the lights were not fixed.
  
09/30/13 Mon 1830 Release Conditions – Several inmates who have court orders not to contact one another were overheard on numerous occasions engaging in conversation, in spite of having been warned about the consequences. Under investigation.
  
09/30/13 Mon 1915 Assistance Rendered – PCR staff requested assistance removing a man who keeps interfering with a volleyball game. An officer advised the man, who did not feel his behavior was problematic, that PCR staff and referees are responsible for determining whether his behavior is disruptive.
  
09/30/13 Mon 1926 Traffic Crime – Officer advised the driver of an illegally parked vehicle to move the vehicle immediately.
  
09/30/13 Mon 2022 Noise Disturbance – Caller reported loud music from a nearby residence, but while trying to describe the residence from which the noise was coming noted that the music had stopped.
  
10/01/13 Tue 0113 Traffic Crime – Officer conducted a traffic stop on a possibly intoxicated driver. The driver completed field sobriety tests and was admonished about the dangers of drinking and driving before being sent on his way.

10/01/13 Tue 1326 Trespass – Several people involved in a brawl at the Harbor View Bar were advised, per Unisea Security, that they were not welcome on Unisea property for a period of one year.
  
10/01/13 Tue 1604 Suspicious Person/Activity – Parking issue.
  
10/01/13 Tue 1803 Lost Property – Black leather wallet with driver’s license and other identification.
  
10/01/13 Tue 1846 Assistance Rendered – Vehicle unlock.
  
10/02/13 Wed 0210 Drunk Disturbance – Officer contacted three drunks at the Harbor View Bar after observing them behaving aggressively with one another on two separate occasions. One of the men said another man had shoved him in the head and both other men had harassed him. The other men denied any wrongdoing. All parties were warned about such behavior continuing.
  
10/02/13 Wed 1131 Commercial Vehicle – Officer contacted local shipping and union representatives regarding overweight commercial vehicle loads and the likelihood of citations being issued for future violations.
  
10/02/13 Wed 1315 Traffic Roads – Complaint about double-parked vehicles on Standard Oil Hill. The vehicles were moved before an officer arrived.
  
10/02/13 Wed 1730 Suspicious Person/Activity – Concern over whom may be allowed in a private residence.
  
10/02/13 Wed 1902 Animal – Loose dog.
  
10/02/13 Wed 2144 Assistance Rendered – Officer found a van with a sliding door left open to the driving rain. The registered owner was advised of the situation.
  
10/03/13 Thu 0051 Trespass – Officer issued a trespass advisement, per Unisea Security, to a man no longer welcome on Unisea property.
  
10/03/13 Thu 0345 Assistance Rendered – Caller from out of town reported that a young man, uninvited and unwanted, had entered her home and lay down next to her 14-year old niece, and asked that an Alaska State Trooper take care of the situation. Information passed on to AST.
  
10/03/13 Thu 1601 Assistance Rendered – Vehicle unlock.
  
10/03/13 Thu 1714 Summons – Petition to Revoke Probation paperwork served on a local man.
  
10/03/13 Thu 1818 Subpoena – Officer served a subpoena issued by the District Court in Dillingham.
  
10/03/13 Thu 2233 Theft – An extremely intoxicated woman told police that her bodyguard had stolen $380, then $480, from her pocket tonight. The woman, who at one point passed out in the bunkhouse hallway as the officer was investigating, was extremely unhappy about her money not being found on her bodyguard or any of the other people with whom she had been partying this night and repeatedly attempted to instruct the officer on how best to perform his duties. The allegedly missing money was not located.

10/04/13 Fri 1128 Traffic Roads – Caller reported a dump truck was dropping gravel as it travelled down the roadway. An officer located the suspect vehicle and driver, and determined that the holding mechanism for the tailgate was broken. The driver agreed to take his truck to the company shop for repair.
  
10/04/13 Fri 1146 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel provided care and assistance for a man who had fallen down a short flight of stairs.
  
10/04/13 Fri 1158 Assistance Rendered – Officer assisted EMS with a patient.
  
10/04/13 Fri 1427 Suspicious Person/Activity – Local caller reported having paid kidnappers $1200 to release his daughter (currently in another state), who had allegedly been nabbed after she threatened to call police about a traffic accident. Only after paying the demanded amount did the caller phone his daughter, to find that she was safe and had never been in a traffic accident. An officer advised the caller he was the victim of fraud and suggested he contact Western Union to stop payment on the funds.
  
10/04/13 Fri 1431 Commercial Vehicle – Caller reported a crane on the roadway was hindering traffic. The crane was part of a permitted oversize/overweight move.
  
10/04/13 Fri 1516 Civil – A Summons and Notice of Judicial Assignment was served on a local woman.
  
10/04/13 Fri 1744 Civil – Father spoke with an officer about some child custody issues which he felt were being handled inappropriately by the mother of his child.
  
10/04/13 Fri 1803 Burglary – Woman made a second-hand report of a possible burglary of her father’s currently vacant house. Officers were able to determine that no entry had been made as described, and that the suspect had not been near the house at the time in question.
  
10/04/13 Fri 1936 Trespass – Officer advised an inmate, per Alaska Ship Supply management, that he was no longer welcome on any of Alaska Ship Supply’s premises.
  
10/04/13 Fri 1948 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel were dispatched to a home wherein a man had allegedly consumed a large quantity of prescription drugs and alcohol.
  
10/04/13 Fri 1951 Suicide – Officers spoke at length with a man who clearly stated his intention to commit suicide in a number of different ways. The man was eventually taken into protective custody and turned over to medical staff after the numerous medications he had ingested caused him to become quite fatigued.

10/05/13 Sat 0630 Public Safety – Jesse D. Lara, 41 yoa, completed sex offender registration as required by law.
  
10/05/13 Sat 0728 Fire Response – Fire and EMS personnel were dispatched to a City building after an automated alarm was activated at that location.  False alarm.
  
10/05/13 Sat 0751 Assistance Rendered – Officers assisted Fire and EMS personnel at the scene of a fire response.
  
10/05/13 Sat 1119 Traffic Roads – Caller reported a wrecked vehicle had been abandoned outside the entrance to the landfill. An officer learned that the owner had been working with a local scrap man to have the vehicle junked. The owner was advised to have the vehicle moved before impound fees were assessed.
  
10/05/13 Sat 1124 Traffic Crime – Complaint about a vehicle being left in the PCR parking lot overnight on a regular basis. Officers were unable to make contact with the registered owner.
  
10/05/13 Sat 1157 Traffic Crime – Passenger vehicle driver reported that a dump truck driver had nearly hit her car at the gas station. The dump truck driver and his spotter, who was outside the truck directing the driver, told the responding officer they had backed their truck to within a foot of the passenger vehicle. The passenger vehicle was not hit or damaged.
  
10/05/13 Sat 1358 Theft – Cleaning service personnel reported a vacuum had been stolen from one of their job sites. The vacuum was returned shortly after it the job site manager told employees about the theft.
  
10/05/13 Sat 1511 Suspicious Person/Activity – Caller reported security concerns with local business.  A representative confirmed that the changes were due to repair work.
  
10/05/13 Sat 1642 Assistance Rendered – Vehicle unlock.
  
10/05/13 Sat 1756 Theft – A woman who left a sum of cash and her ID on a cafeteria tray which was dropped off for dishwashing hours earlier reported that the ID and money were gone. Investigating officers recovered the ID from a dishwasher but did not locate the money.
  
10/05/13 Sat 1858 Animal – Missing puppy, later found.
  
10/05/13 Sat 2024 Taxi Violation – Officer ordered a taxi out of service until such time as both headlights are operational.
  
10/05/13 Sat 2210 Trespass – Officers issued a trespass advisement, per Unisea Security, to a man no longer welcome at their hospitality establishments. The belligerent and inebriated man agreed to return to his hotel room to sleep.
  
10/05/13 Sat 2250 Noise Disturbance – Complaint about loud music. Responding officers heard no unreasonably loud noise in the area. The complainant opined that the person responsible for the loud music must also be using a scanner, so as to turn down his or her music before officers arrive.
  
10/05/13 Sat 2336 Assistance Rendered – An inebriate who had earlier been told not to return to any Unisea liquor establishments was evicted from his hotel room after he began trashing his room. Hotel management chose not to pursue charges.
  
10/05/13 Sat 2344 Trespass – The inebriate, having been evicted from his room, returned to one of the places from which he had been barred only hours earlier. Michael L. Klingelhoets, 45 yoa, of Minnesota, was arrested on one count of Criminal Trespass II.
