11/03/13 Sun 0059 Noise Disturbance – Officer responded to a report of loud noise in the downtown Unalaska area but heard nothing of note.
  
11/03/13 Sun 0116 Liquor Law Violation – Officer advised a sleeping bar patron he was not allowed to remain on any licensed premises this night.
  
11/03/13 Sun 0136 Trespass – Officer issued a trespass advisement, per security, to a man who in a fit of passion had inadvertently broken a window.
  
11/03/13 Sun 0640 Animal – Loose dog.
  
11/03/13 Sun 0917 EMS Other Services – Transport arranged for patient at sea.
  
11/03/13 Sun 0935 Subpoena – Officer served a subpoena to a witness in a criminal trial.
  
11/03/13 Sun 1321 Unsecured Premise – Out of town homeowner heard that a window to his house was open. An officer confirmed that this was so. Officers contacted the caretaker of the residence about the problem.
  
11/03/13 Sun 1537 Assault – Concerned parent reported unusual behavior on the part of two young children. Under investigation.
  
11/03/13 Sun 1900 Assistance Rendered – Two callers reported an intoxicated man swaying along the roadway. Officers contacted the inebriate, who was depressed about the recent death of a friend but who did not require any police or medical assistance.
  
11/04/13 Mon 0558 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel provided care and transport for a burn patient from a foreign-flagged vessel.
  
11/04/13 Mon 1428 Subpoena - Officer served a subpoena to a witness for a DMV administrative hearing.
  
11/04/13 Mon 1451 Civil – Officer served civil paperwork, issued by a California court, to a local resident.
  
11/04/13 Mon 1546 Animal – Loose dog.
  
11/04/13 Mon 1656 Warrant Arrest – Andrew Carl Lindstrom, 31 yoa, was arrested on an extraditable warrant out of Oregon, original charges DUI, Reckless Driving and Possession of Heroin.
  
11/05/13 Tue 0100 Welfare Check – Officer checked the area around a residence at which a woman had recently been contacted by an unwanted ex-partner.  The man was later trespassed from the residence.
  
11/05/13 Tue 1308 Summons – Officer served a summons to a defendant in a criminal case.
  
11/05/13 Tue 1310 Subpoena - Officer served a subpoena to a witness in a criminal trial.
  
11/05/13 Tue 1639 Found Property – A wallet, with multiple pieces of identification. The owner’s employer was notified.
  
11/05/13 Tue 1807 Assistance Rendered – Worker accidentally set off a fire alarm.
  
11/05/13 Tue 2211 Assistance Rendered – Callers reported hearing what sounded like the tsunami siren in the area of the Small Boat Harbor. Officers responded but heard neither the tsunami siren nor other similar noises.  The sound heard was believed to have been the high wind siren on the local cranes.
  
11/05/13 Tue 2216 Public Safety – High wind warning, forecast for gusts to 80mph.
  
11/05/13 Tue 2341 Welfare Check – Caller requested a welfare check on a distraught and possibly intoxicated woman alleged to have been kicked out of her house by her husband and to be walking in or near the cemetery. An officer found the intoxicated woman making phone calls behind a vehicle, and after determining she was not in need of assistance advised her to return home.
  
11/06/13 Wed 0034 Theft – Resident reported that a fraudulent transfer of funds in the amount of $5000 was cancelled before the transfer was complete, and that the person to whose account the illegal transfer was being made is another Unalaska resident. Under investigation.
  
11/06/13 Wed 0038 Welfare Check - Caller requested a welfare check on a distraught and possibly intoxicated woman alleged to be arguing with her husband. An officer found the intoxicated woman en route to the liquor store, and after determining she was not in need of assistance advised her to return home.
  
11/06/13 Wed 0359 Welfare Check – A distraught and intoxicated woman called UDPS and asked to talk a mental health practitioner before hanging up the phone. An officer responded to the woman’s residence; she refused to answer the door but did tell a dispatcher she had no desire to speak to police.
  
11/06/13 Wed 0439 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel were dispatched to a report that a distraught and intoxicated woman had attempted to harm herself.
  
11/06/13 Wed 0449 Welfare Check - Caller requested a welfare check on a distraught and possibly intoxicated woman alleged to have cut herself. Officers responded to the woman’s residence and after making entry, found the woman asleep in bed with no indication that she had attempted to harm herself.
  
11/06/13 Wed 0800 Animal – Request to borrow a kennel.
  
11/06/13 Wed 0830 Welfare Check – Officers checked on a woman from whom a 911 call had been received, and learned that the woman had inadvertently dialed police.
  
11/06/13 Wed 2135 Public Safety – Caller reported a road sign was flapping in the wind and appeared in danger of blowing off and into the roadway. An officer removed the sign and returned it to Public Works.
  
11/06/13 Wed 2220 Suspicious Person/Activity – Resident reported hearing what he believed was a series of large caliber, semiautomatic gunshots, in the Haystack neighborhood. Officers checked the area and spoke to other persons in the neighborhood, but found no other evidence that shots were fired or heard.
  
11/07/13 Thu 0716 Civil – Father concerned about his daughter’s poor choice in friends. 
  
11/07/13 Thu 0826 Harassment – A man reported his former roommate had threatened to kill him; this conclusion having been drawn after the roommate slid a forefinger across his throat. Officers spoke to the roommate, who said the caller had poked fun at his droopy eye and refused to go outside to have a private conversation, choosing instead to air their disputes in front of others in the galley. Officers advised both men to avoid contact with one another.
  
11/07/13 Thu 1117 Lost Property – A Philippine Islands passport, at the PCR.
  
11/07/13 Thu 1843 Theft – Man reported his phone was stolen three days earlier. He provided an officer with some documents related to possible usage of said cell phone. Under investigation.
  
11/07/13 Thu 2118 Noise Disturbance – Apartment dwellers reported noise from an upstairs neighbor. An officer contacted the neighbor, who immediately apologized and turned down the volume on his music.
  
11/08/13 Fri 0029 Welfare Check – UDPS contacted a person from whom a 911 hang-up call was received. The caller stated his phone had not been working properly and the call was inadvertent.
  
11/08/13 Fri 0824 Traffic Crime – Driver reported to be speeding.  Officers contacted the driver and issued a verbal warning.

11/08/13 Fri 1025 Fire Safety – Questions about burn permits and requirements. 
  
11/08/13 Fri 1230 Civil – Mother reported that her ex-husband, with whom she has no formal custody agreement, had not returned their son as she had requested. An officer advised the two parties to get a custody agreement approved by the court, to reduce miscommunications about the boy’s care.
  
11/08/13 Fri 1345 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel transported a woman from the upstairs clinic to the downstairs clinic.

11/08/13 Fri 1648 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel provided care and transport for a drunk who had passed out on the floor of his home.

11/09/13 Sat 1635 Fire Response – Fire personnel responded to the PCR regarding a report of odor, similar to that of exhaust, in the gym. Occupants were evacuated until it could be determined that carbon monoxide levels were within normal limits.
  
11/09/13 Sat 1639 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel responded to a fire scene.
  
11/09/13 Sat 1642 Assistance Rendered – Officer assisted Fire personnel with the evacuation of a building.
  
11/09/13 Sat 1848 Traffic Roads – Complaint about a parked vehicle partially blocking the roadway. The owner was contacted and the vehicle moved shortly thereafter.
  
11/09/13 Sat 2312 Traffic Crime – Officer stopped a vehicle with a minor equipment problem and discovered that the teenage driver had only an instructional permit, and that the vehicle, which belonged to the father of the teenage passenger, had been taken without permission. Various parents were advised of their daughters’ transgressions.
