10/20/13 Sun 0036 Drug Law Violation – Officer received information regarding illegal drug sales in Unalaska. Under investigation.
  
10/20/13 Sun 0059 Liquor Law Violation – Officers investigating a loud noise that had scared some children found an inebriated, underage, shirtless man outside the neighboring residence. The inebriate was upset about having been kicked out of a party to which he had not been invited, and had slammed his arms against the children’s home. Aukuso Tiatia, 19 yoa, was charged with Minor in Possession.
  
10/20/13 Sun 0309 Theft – Woman reported her phone was stolen from the Harbor View Bar approximately 90 minutes earlier. No suspects were identified due to the number of people in the facility.
  
10/20/13 Sun 0939 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel provided care and transport for a man who had fallen from the roof of a building and injured his leg.
  
10/20/13 Sun 0945 Assistance Rendered – Officer assisted EMS personnel with a patient.

10/20/13 Sun 1223 MVA Damage – A driver backed into a roadway and struck a passing car. No injuries were reported. The driver was cited for Limitations on Backing.
  
10/20/13 Sun 1810 MVA Damage – A different driver backed into a neighbor’s poorly parked car, causing minor damage and no injuries.
  
10/20/13 Sun 2145 Assistance Rendered – A man whose community flyers had been torn down in the past reported that the culprit was no longer removing the flyers but was now posting counter-argumentative flyers immediately adjacent. Management of the store where the flyers were posted had no desire to see the bulletin board become an argument board. The culprit was advised to cease his behavior.

10/21/13 Mon 1119 Custody – Alaska State Trooper turned over a recently arrested man to the UDPS jail.
  
10/21/13 Mon 1307 Theft – Uncle reported his nephew has been siphoning money from the uncle’s bank account and transferring it to his own. Total funds lost to date amount to $2300. Under investigation.

10/21/13 Mon 2011 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel provided care to a man whose hand had been badly bitten by a pit bull.
  
10/21/13 Mon 2012 Animal – Officer determined the aforementioned pit bull has a history of biting people, has been declared vicious and is supposed to leashed and/or muzzled when in public. It was not. Owner to be cited for harboring a vicious animal.
  
10/22/13 Tue 0542 Welfare Check – Caller reported an intoxicated male had been loitering around Safeway since the previous afternoon. Officers contacted an inebriated, temporarily homeless and unemployed man and advised him of the various things he could not do, to include consuming alcohol in public and trespassing on private property. The inebriate left the area.
  
10/22/13 Tue 0807 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel provided care and transport for a young woman having an asthma attack.

10/22/13 Tue 1930 Suspicious Person/Activity – Caller from out of state reported that the unidentified girlfriend of an unidentified person from out of the country was receiving threatening messages and pictures from an unidentified person in Unalaska. Under investigation.
  
10/22/13 Tue 2215 Suspicious Person/Activity – Caller reported a strobe light flashing somewhere on Ballyhoo. The light was part of a tower installed by GCI per FAA regulations.
  
10/22/13 Tue 2253 Drug Law Violation – Officer received information regarding illegal drug sales in Unalaska. Under investigation.
  
10/23/13 Wed 1117 Drug Law Violation – Officer received information regarding illegal drug sales in Unalaska. Under investigation.
  
10/24/13 Thu 0011 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel provided care and transport for a man critically injured in a one-car accident.
  
10/24/13 Thu 0012 MVA Injury – Officers investigated a one-car accident in which a vehicle, presumably travelling at a high rate of speed, went off the roadway and struck the cliffs between the South Channel Bridge and Captain’s Bay Road. The driver was ejected and suffered massive injuries. Alcohol is considered a factor.
  
10/24/13 Thu 0202 Animal – Officers located a dog, ejected from the vehicle which its owner had been driving, and lodged it at UDPS. The dog was later collected and taken home by a friend of the driver.

10/24/13 Thu 0903 MVA Damage – Vehicle owner reported damage done to his vehicle by flying debris.
  
10/24/13 Thu 1826 MVA Damage – A driver reported a minor vehicle accident that had occurred the previous day, at which time he and the other party made arrangements regarding repairs. The driver contacted police after these arrangements fell through but then elected not to pursue the matter when he discovered the officer actually wanted to talk to the other party.
  
10/24/13 Thu 2015 Environmental – Vehicle owner reported damage done to his vehicle by flying debris.
  
10/25/13 Fri 0814 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel provided care and transport for a fisherman with a badly injured foot.
  
10/25/13 Fri 0923 Assistance Rendered – Caller reported there was a bag of trash in the roadway, and he did not know to whom it might belong. An officer responded to the area but did not find any unidentified bags of garbage.
  
10/25/13 Fri 1011 Assist Other Agency – EMS turned over unused narcotics for destruction.
  
10/25/13 Fri 1036 Summons – Officer served a summons for a criminal charge.
  
10/25/13 Fri 1130 Assist Other Agency – Kenai Adult Probation asked officers to obtain a urine sample from a recently arrested felony probationer. The probationer refused to provide a sample. Information passed on to the probation officer.
  
10/25/13 Fri 1456 Subpoena – Officer served a subpoena for a criminal trial.

10/25/13 Fri 1529 Traffic Crime – Caller reported a driver had been speeding about 10 minutes earlier.
  
10/25/13 Fri 1555 Assistance Rendered – Elementary school staff reported an apparently abandoned vehicle in the school parking lot. The vehicle was subsequently moved.
  
10/25/13 Fri 1656 Subpoena - Officer served a subpoena for a criminal trial.
  
10/25/13 Fri 1907 Environmental – Caller reported someone was driving off the roadway and on the tundra around Dutton Road. The driver was tentatively identified.
  
10/25/13 Fri 2117 Assistance Rendered – Officers responded to the Grand Aleutian Hotel regarding an extremely intoxicated man found outside the hotel entrance. The drunk was taken to the clinic for evaluation due to his condition.
  
10/25/13 Fri 2230 Ambulance Request – EMS personnel provided care and transport for a drunk.
  
10/25/13 Fri 2231 Ambulance Request – The same EMS personnel provided care and transport for the same drunk.
  
10/25/13 Fri 2231 PC-Alcohol – A drunk was taken into protective custody after he was released from the clinic, due to his complete and utter inability to care for himself.
  
10/26/13 Sat 0115 Public Safety – Construction debris blew into the roadway near the CEM Dock. Numerous messages were left for the owner of the property from whence came the debris.
  
10/26/13 Sat 0733 Suspicious Person/Activity – Caller reported that the door to a City-owned vehicle had been left open. An officer responded and found that a shiny reflection simply made it appear so.
  
10/26/13 Sat 1833 Welfare Check – Drunken brother reported his equally intoxicated sibling had been puking for the last hour. Officers responded and found two drunks, one of whom professed to be fine and used his two middle fingers to express just how fine he really was.
  
10/26/13 Sat 1956 Harassment – Employer reported that a former employee was sending numerous profane text messages and he wished for the behavior to cease. An officer contacted the former employee, who utilized a great deal of profanity to express his disgust with his former employer. He was eventually advised to cease all contact with his former employer.
  
10/26/13 Sat 2258 Assault – Officers responded to the Harbor View Bar regarding an assault, and learned that two men who’d had a disagreement earlier in the evening had opted to take their disagreement outside. The participant who remained at the scene was advised that he could be arrested for disorderly conduct.
