The Division of Fire & EMS consists of four full time paid staff and 28-30 on-call volunteers.

Mrs. Marquez moved to Unalaska in 1993 and has been an employee of the City of Unalaska since January 2000. Ruth is a proud member of the Unalaska Filipino-American Association and Friends of the Library Treasurer. Ruth is very involved in the community and ensures all of the department's staff has all the tools to serve the community effectively.
