Sealed Bids for the City of Unalaska Lake & River Restoration Projects, addressed to the City of Unalaska, will be received at the following address:

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. (AKST) on January 6, 2016, and then will be publicly opened and read. Any bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered.

The work will include, but not be limited to, furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials and performing all operations in connection with the Lake & River Restoration Projects.

Project Location: Armstrong Court, Steward Road Bridge, Overland Drive (outlet swale, basin, storm drain, and diversion culvert), Lower Iliuliuk River

Technical questions shall be directed in writing to PND Engineers, Inc. awest@pndengineers.com, with a copy to rlund@ci.unalaska.ak.us. A copy of the Bidding Documents can be obtained below for no charge. Please email lgregory@ci.unalaska.ak.us to be listed as a Planholder of Record.

Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by bid security as prescribed in the instruction to bidders, payable to the City of Unalaska, Alaska, in an amount not less than 5 (five) percent of the Total Bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the Contract, as prescribed in the Bidding Documents.

A prebid telephone conference will be held on December 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the City of Unalaska Department of Public Works and at PND Engineers, Inc. Anchorage office. Bidders may attend either locations or via teleconference. Call in number and passcode are 1(800)315-6338 and 141100#, respectively. A site visit by all bidders is mandatory and will be held at the end of the prebid telephone conference

The successful Bidder shall hold such Contractors and Business Licenses as required by State Statutes and City of Unalaska Municipal Code Section 9.30.010.  The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding, and to accept bids that are considered to be in the best interest of the City of Unalaska.
