INVITATION TO BID
The City of Unalaska is seeking sealed bids for the CITY OF UNALASKA – LIGHT CARGO DOCK EXPANSION.
The work will include, but not be limited to, furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials and performing all operations in connection with the CITY OF UNALASKA – LIGHT CARGO DOCK EXPANSION.
The work generally consists of expansion of the existing Light Cargo Dock located on the spit at the end of Ballyhoo Road. This work will require demolition of portions of the existing structure to allow for installation of a new OPEN CELL SHEET PILE™ bulkhead. Major work items include removal of existing dolphins, demolition of portions of existing concrete surface, removal and salvage of existing armor rock, and installation of a new sheet pile bulkhead, support piles, vibracompaction, structural steel and formwork, and a new concrete slab. Additional work items that are constructed as part of the Project include new tire fenders, a 3” water service, storm drain and site lighting and electrical improvements.

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 P.M. (AK), on June 15th, 2016, and then publicly opened and read. Any bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered.
