Hydrant Water Use
Construction companies and businesses may use a City of Unalaska fire hydrant to fill water trucks. Hydrants may also be used for construction or maintenance projects, where large quantities of water are needed and no other means of supply is available. Hydrants are to be used for temporary needs and permits will not be issued for seasonal use on a continuing basis.
Hydrant Use Permit Deposit and Rental Fee
A rental fee of $50 will be applied to your account.
Hydrant Water Rates
Water is to be metered and water usage must be reported to the City on a monthly basis. Water is charged at $2.19 per thousand gallons.
