If you will be out of town on November 1, 2016, you may vote absentee beginning October 17, 2016 in the Unalaska City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by filing a written application for a ballot. Ballots will not be mailed to local addresses.
You may also apply to vote by fax by contacting the Unalaska City Clerk’s Office. Voting by fax will not be allowed to local fax numbers.
If you are unable to vote by reason of physical disability on Election Day, you may appoint a personal representative to bring a ballot to you or may request the City Clerk to bring one to you.
If a voter requires special assistance to vote on Election Day by reason of blindness, disability or inability to read or write, the voter may be given assistance by a person of the voter’s choice.
