New Public Works Director Named
City Manager Chris Hladick is pleased to announce that THOMAS E. COHENOUR has been hired as the new Public Works Director for the City of Unalaska.
Mr. Hladick said: “I am pleased to welcome Tom as our new Public Works Director. Tom has extensive public works experience, in both administration and project/construction management. He also has experience in Alaska, having been the head of public works in Palmer and Cordova, so he understands the unique challenges of doing business in Alaska.”
Nancy Hawley, the former Public Works Director, retired in January. Mr. Cohenour will assume his duties on May 5, 2014.
