Anthony Grande Named Planning Director
Anthony Grande Named Planning Director
Acting City Manager Erin Reinders has hired Anthony Grande as the Planning Director after an internal search began earlier this month.
Mr. Grande has been the City's Planning Administrator since 2013 and holds Bachelor degrees in mathematics and geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Masters Degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois-Chicago. Mr. Grande has completed an internship with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning and is an AICP Certified Planner.
"Mr. Grande is an active member of this community and well respected by the Unalaska Planning Commission and Historic Preservation Committee, as well as by his peers in the profession. I am pleased to begin working with Mr. Grande in his new position" Ms. Reinders stated.
Mr. Grande will assume his new duties on December 16, 2015.
