Aleutian Regional Community Conference
Join legislative representatives, community leaders, and regional residents in Unalaska—the Heart of the Aleutians—for a four-day conference focused on the key issues, challenges, and opportunities facing the Aleutian Region.
Sessions will feature presentations and discussion panels led by local, state, and national leaders from government and a variety of fields, including education, energy, health care, transportation, nonprofits, and the regional economy.
In addition to thought-provoking sessions, participants will have ample opportunity to take in the breathtaking beauty of Unalaska, explore unique local landmarks such as area museums and the oldest Russian Orthodox church in North America, and participate in guided tours of the island.
Those who stay through Saturday can also enjoy the Heart of the Aleutians Festival—a long-standing community celebration featuring local crafts, food vendors, performances by cultural dance groups, and a special appearance by a visiting musician.
Come to learn, engage, and be inspired—and leave with a deeper connection to the people and place that make the Aleutians extraordinary.
