INVITATION TO BID
The City of Unalaska is seeking sealed bids for the SEWAGE LIFT STATION #3 FORCE MAIN REPLACEMENT – DELTA WAY STORM DRAIN PROJECT.
The work will include, but not be limited to, furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials and performing all operations in connection with the SEWAGE LIFT STATION #3 FORCE MAIN REPLACEMENT – DELTA WAY STORM DRAIN PROJECT.
The force main work consists of the installation of 556 Linear Feet of 6” Ductile Iron Pipe, raising four sanitary sewer manholes, and the construction of a valve vault and appurtenant items. The storm drain work consists of the installation of 392 Linear Feet of 24” Ductile Iron Pipe, installation of four manholes, relocation of two waterlines, and miscellaneous support work.

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., local time on May 6, 2014, and then publicly opened and read. Any bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered.
A prebid conference will be held on April 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the City of Unalaska Department of Public Works. A site visit by all bidders is strongly recommended.
The successful Bidder shall hold such Contractors and Business Licenses as required by State Statutes and City of Unalaska Municipal Code Section 9.30.010. The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding, and to accept bids that are considered to be in the best interest of the City of Unalaska.
