Seat G - Shari Coleman
Shari Coleman
Shari Coleman came to Unalaska in the mid 90’s as a seasonal worker, and before the turn of the century decided to make Unalaska her home. She has a degree in Fisheries Management, and has worked primarily in the fisheries industry for more than 20 years in both the private and public sectors, currently employed as the Environmental Compliance Supervisor for UniSea, Inc.
Shari is married to Erin, a long time resident with children reared in Unalaska. Both enjoy exploring the island by boat, appreciate the beauty and energy of all its seasons, and take an active role in community events. Shari owns a home in Unalaska, is the proprietor of a small business, a member of the Unalaska Fish and Game Advisory Committee and an Unalaska Community Broadcasting board member. Shari is serving her first elected term on the Unalaska City Council, having won election in October 2017.
The term for Seat G expires in October 2024.
