Seat F - Alejandro Tungul
Alejandro "Bong" Tungul
My name is Alejandro "Bong" Tungul. I moved to Unalaska in 1979, and made it my home. My wife Rita and I were married in 1995 and we raised our four children here: Jason, Felicia, Claudine and Alleri. We now have three grandchildren and only one child living at home. In my free time I look to cook, go fishing and attend our local community events, especially the youth programs and sports.
When I first moved here I worked at Aleutian Mercantile for five years and then worked at Carl's for 17 years. I currently work for North Pacific Fuel managing the gas station and I also hold the position of assistant terminal manager.
I have a pretty long history here in Unalaska and have loved what this place and people have done to help me get where I am today. I am proud to be an Unalaskan.
I was first appointed to the Unalaska City Council in March 2013 to fill a vacated seat, and was elected to the Council in October 2013.
The term for Seat F expires in October 2024.
